Outline Programme
Year 1: Why innovate? - Raising Awareness and Understanding
The sessions involve up to 50 managers who provide examples of innovation across the whole spectrum of business activities. Each event will be an interview between Rob Pittam, the BBC's Business Correspondent, a recognised national innovator and a local exemplar. Each interviewee will be asked questions to explore the softer aspects of innovation:-

- What enabled the innovation? Was it leadership drive and support, culture, teamwork, skills (managing change and continuous improvement), employee involvement (empowerment and consultation/participation), creative workplace/space?
Through the website resources include:
- Best Practice from sessions
- Guest speaker presentations, short summary papers distilling key findings and reports, case studies and thought leadership pieces etc.
